The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help today in locating a subject who is wanted on eight arrest warrants related to four separate property crimes.

25 year old Kenneth Charles Goss is wanted on two counts each of Grand Larceny, Breaking into a Motor Vehicle and Petit Larceny. Goss is also wanted on one count each of First Degree Burglary and Second Degree Burglary.

A 2012 Kubota L3800DT Tractor with front end loader attachment and a Kodak rotary cutter was stolen from Cherokee Lake Rd in Tamassee SC on or about February 28, 2021. The tractor as well as its attachments are all orange in color. The Kubota tractor was stolen from Cherokee Lake Rd. Tamassee SC 29686 on or around February 28th 2021. Serial number displayed on the tractor is 69659 and the ID number listed is 3022627177.

Utility Trailer and Tools Investigation

 

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in a larceny investigation in which $13,000 worth of tools was taken from a utility trailer that was stolen and later recovered.

 

Deputies from the Uniform Patrol Division were dispatched to the area of Cleveland Pike Road and Berry Farm Road during the morning hours of Monday, February 1st of this year in regards to an initial report of a stolen trailer.  The victim told the deputy that a white enclosed 16’ utility trailer, with the name McAllister’s Utilities on the side and with Indiana tags, had been stolen from that location. 

 

The stolen trailer was actually recovered on Bridge Road near Jenkins Bridge Road on the morning of Saturday, January 30th and was towed away from the scene, eventually being turned over to the rightful owner.  The investigation has been turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division.

Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Seeks the Public’s Help in Locating Wanted Subject  

 

(Walhalla, SC)----------------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help today in locating a wanted subject who has a total of 12 arrest warrants related to three separate incidents.

 

37 year old Jerrico Roshean Fruster of Central is wanted on one count of Second Degree Burglary, three counts of Malicious Injury to Real Property, one count of Assault and Battery – 3rd Degree, two counts of First Degree Burglary, two counts of Pointing and Presenting a Firearm, one count of Unlawful Communication, one count of Arson – 3rd Degree and one count of Unlawful Use of 911.

 

One of the incidents occurred on January 29th and two of the incidents occurred on January 30th at an address near Seneca.  During the incident on January 29th, Fruster is accused in arrest warrants of breaking into a building on Cedar Valley Lane, while damaging a door, and assaulting the victim. 

 

During one of the incidents on January 30th, Fruster is accused of entering a dwelling at night, armed with a handgun, which he presented to the victim, and damaging the windows of the residence.   

 

Fruster is also accused of entering the residence again on January 30th at night, while armed with a handgun, and presented the gun to the victim.  Fruster also made a phone call to the victim using inappropriate language. 

 

During one of the incidents, Fruster also damaged the victim’s vehicle, a green 2002 Ford Taurus, and also set fire to the same vehicle. 

 

Fruster is also accused of unlawfully using the 911 system by not reporting an emergency and using inappropriate language.

Stolen 2008 Dodge Charger

Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Seeks the Public’s Help Regarding Stolen Vehicle Investigation        

 

(Walhalla, SC)-------------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help today regarding a vehicle that was reported stolen yesterday near Westminster.

 

A deputy from the Uniform Patrol Division met with the victim at the incident location in the 300 block of Cobb Bridge Road near Westminster during the late afternoon hours October 14th in regards to a white 2008 Dodge Charger that was taken from the property. 

 

The vehicle last displayed a South Carolina tag of EVH496. The vehicle is valued at approximately $7,500. 

 

The case has been assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division.  Investigators believe that the vehicle has been taken within the last month.  Information on the vehicle has been entered into the National Crimes Information Center database.

Counterfeit Money Investigation

Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Seeks the Public’s Help Regarding Counterfeit Money Investigation  

 

(Walhalla, SC)------------------------------------- The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help today in its investigation into counterfeit money that was recently used at the Seneca BI-LO location.

 

The Sheriff’s Office is also seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual in relation to the investigation.

 

A deputy was dispatched to the store location at BI-LO Place near Seneca during the late morning hours of May 30th.  The deputy met with an employee of the store who told the deputy that an individual purchased food and a beverage from the deli at the store during the early afternoon hours of May 28th.  The employee said the same individual passed off to the same employee a quantity of counterfeit bills. 

 

The investigation was turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division.  The investigation has determined that the same individual passed along a quantity of counterfeit bills at the BI-LO location in Pendleton during the same time period.

 

The individual the Sheriff’s Office is seeking to identify is a white male who deputies believe could possibly be in his early ‘30’s.

Hit & Run in Seneca

South Carolina Highway Patrol is seeking information about a Hit and Run collision in which a pedestrian was struck and was injured. This happened on February 03, 2020 at around 6:50 p.m. on Friendship Road near Sitton Mill Road in Oconee County.

2000 – 2007 Chevrolet Silverado pickup, unknown color. The vehicle left the scene traveling in an unknown direction on Friendship Road. The vehicle should have damage to the passenger’s side. The passenger’s side mirror should also be missing.
